You must check with your insurance if you require a referral to see the team at Heritage Hills. If you already have a primary care doctor, you may need to contact them to determine if a referral is needed. You must take care of this before you even schedule an appointment with Heritage Hills. If you need a referral and you schedule an appointment without one, you will be responsible for the payment in full. Heritage Hills will not be able to call your PCP to get them to produce a referral in retrospect.
Ketamine has a bit of stigma and baggage given its history. Yes, ketamine is legal, just not in a non-clinical setting or when used as a party drug. In fact, ketamine is only a Schedule III drug according to the DEA. This puts it on the same level as Tylenol and codeine. As always, ask your doctor if ketamine therapy is right for you.
