Your Treatment: What to Expect at Field Trip Health Toronto

Frequency of treatment programs is dictated by the client’s unique circumstances, but will run approximately 3-4 weeks. Beginning with a preparation session, clients and their health-care providers establish a working relationship and set down goals to be met through therapy. This is followed by a psychedelic session, starting off with low doses and increasing only if as assessment calls for higher doses.

Immediately following the psychedelic session, clients will sit with a therapist and explore the experience. Finally, in an integration session, therapist and client engage in utilizing what has been discovered in the psychedelic session in order to facilitate healing.

Who is this treatment for?

Field Trip Toronto’s combination of cutting-edge and traditional psychotheraputic practices helps those suffering from mental health issues that are resistant to mainstream treatments. As such, although safe, psychedelic therapy does involve risks to those suffering from some pre-existing conditions. The Field Trip team will assess, based on your health history, whether or not ketamine therapy is useful and safe. Ketamine therapy, and psychedelic therapy more generally, is for those who have not seen desired benefits from mainstream medical practices, and for those seeking positive change in their lives. Additionally, ketamine may help sleep as well.
