Invictus Clinic LLC uses ketamine therapy to help patients suffering from a variety of different conditions. Health issues that can be treated with ketamine infusions at Invictus Clinic include depression, anxiety, neuropathy, radiculopathy, and suicidal ideation. The ketamine is administered intravenously.
Dr. Brandon Grinage and Wesley Karcher, MSN, CRNA, opened Invictus Clinic LLC after witnessing the devastating effects mental illness can have on a person and their family. They wanted to address the unmet needs of people through the use of new and innovative therapies. It is with ketamine infusions that they hope to help as many people as possible find hope on their paths to wellness.

Getting Started
A direct referral from a psychiatrist is not required, though a referral from any mental health or primary care provider is encouraged. Otherwise, an initial phone or office consultation with one of the clinic’s providers can determine if you are a good candidate for ketamine therapy. Without a referral, you will need to bring in copies of your medical records showing a documented diagnosis for one of the many disorders Invictus Clinic treats. The office provide this initial consultation free of charge.
Treatment
On the day of your ketamine infusion, it is important to maintain a special diet to reduce the chances of developing any nausea from the treatment. Typically, this means avoiding acidic juices and other similar foods that may irritate your GI tract. The clinic asks that you not eat 6 hours prior to your infusion. You may drink WATER up to 2 hours prior to your infusion.
You’ll also need to bring someone to drive you home, as you will not be allowed to be discharged from the facility by yourself. Your driver does not have to stay for the infusion, but they must be available to pick you up when you are ready for discharge.
Per Invictus Clinic, research shows that a series of 6 treatments over 2 weeks can provide relief lasting months. Some patients can go 3-6 months before needing another single treatment while some may need one treatment every 1-2 months.
