Looking for Depression Treatment in Louisville, KY? Ketamine Therapy May Be an Option

This is a guest post by Dr. Rafael Cruz, medical director of Kentuckiana Integrative Medicine, located in Jeffersonville, Indiana

If you or someone you know is struggling with severe depression, suicidal thinking, severe anxiety, treatment resistant depression, addiction, PTSD or OCD, Ketamine therapy can often provide the fastest relief from those symptoms. With relief from the chains of the disabling emotional pain from these conditions one can then learn new strategies to enhance and maintain recovery and stability. Try our self-assessment questionnaire privately to see if you are a candidate for depression treatment through ketamine therapy.

Kentuckiana Ketamine Institute is one the most experienced Ketamine Treatment centers in Kentuckiana and the country. Over seven years ago, we introduced Ketamine to the community for mental health challenges such as Treatment Resistant Depression, Postpartum Depression, Reactive Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD, Severe Anxiety and Pain Issues [Fibromyalgia, Neuropathy, Migraines] with tremendous success.

At Kentuckiana Integrative Medicine, Dr. Rafael F. Cruz MD has over 25 years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine, Anesthesia and Integrative Medicine and is extremely experienced in the safe use of Ketamine therapy. Over 30 years ago, he personally experienced the devastating effects of depression so he can relate well to his patients. We even treat 12-year-old individuals suffering with the listed conditions which few clinics are comfortable doing.

You will be treated with the compassion and respect you deserve in a private room with a spa like environment including Lazy boy chair with heat, massage, blanket and more. You will learn lifelong techniques and strategies that will dramatically enhance your potential for success.

We mostly use IV Intravenous and IM Intramuscular Ketamine therapy. However, whenever possible with adults who have Medicare or commercial insurance, we will attempt to see if insurance coverage is available for NASAL SPRAVATO KETAMINE. NASAL SPRAVATO KETAMINE is only approved for treatment resistant depression in patients who have tried and failed to improve with at least 2-3 anti-depressants or ECT or TCM therapies. We currently cannot accept Medicaid insurances.  Experience the difference at Kentuckiana Ketamine Institute where your improvement is our most important mission.

In Addition to Depression Treatment, Ketamine therapy can help patients with a variety of conditions:

  • Suicidal Thinking
  • Treatment Resistant Depression
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Reactive Depression
  • Postpartum Depression
  • Addictions
  • Severe Anxiety
  • PTSD
  • OCD
  • Migraines
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Neuropathic Pain
  • CRPS Complex Regional Pain Syndrome [formerly RSD]

See the list of conditions we treat here.

Consult Cost: $300

Cost for SEVEN treatments of Ketamine: $2,500-$6000

The higher costs listed are if other services are desired such as IV Vitamin therapy which is indicated when there is a history of sever fatigue, fibromyalgia, recurrent infections etc.

You may use our self-assessment tools and can complete your medical intake if you desire.
