Infusion is an “off-label” use of ketamine and is therefore not usually covered by health insurance. Check with your provider beforehand.
Some conditions prevent qualification for ketamine infusion. These include: uncontrolled high blood pressure; heart disease; kidney disease; history of psychosis; bipolar disorder; prior failed ketamine treatment; current substance abuse; interstitial cystitis – contact clinic for more information.
Studies show that 70 percent of patients respond favorably to ketamine, but this is no guarantee of positive results.
You should continue to take prescribed medications throughout treatment unless told to stop by a primary care giver.
Patients should have a trusted friend or family member to accompany them home.

Your Treatment: What to Expect
Initial phone and office consultations will establish the suitability of ketamine at the Altasano Infusion Center, as well as the treatment plan moving forward.
On the day of your infusion, you will receive one on one care from a highly qualified professional. Patients should allow themselves two hours for each ketamine infusion.
