Those suffering from various pain and psychiatric disorders can find relief from their symptoms at the Florida Spine Institute in St. Petersburg. The pain management clinic, which also has additional offices in Clearwater and Tampa, provides breakthrough ketamine infusion therapy for people who have exhausted all other avenues of treatment. Some conditions that have been treated at the clinic include complex regional pain syndrome, Lyme disease, suicidal ideation, depression, and lichen sclerosus, among others.
The Florida Spine Institute is run by an elite team of pain surgeons and pain management professionals that operate under the principle of providing excellent care with an unmatched level of compassion. For over two decades, the clinic has helped thousands of patients find relief from their chronic conditions by using the latest pain management techniques such as ketamine therapy. Ketamine is a highly-respected anesthetic, considered by the World Health Organization to be an essential medication. Recent developments in the treatment of resistant conditions with low-dose ketamine strengthen this assessment.
Either as an alternative to or a supplement to mainstream treatments, ketamine infusions at the Florida Spine Institute offer an alternative path to healing for those who have lost hope.
– Intravenous (IV) Ketamine Infusion Therapy
Depending on the nature of your pain and your responsiveness to initial sessions, treatment protocols are individually planned. A variety of medications can be used including lidocaine, ketamine, and magnesium. Infusion cocktails are prepared at the Florida Spine Institute so they can be tailored to each patient’s therapeutic needs. These medications are generally mixed with saline in an IV bag and infused slowly over several hours depending on the protocol and medications being used. Most often, a spectrum of treatments will be suggested daily for a period of a week or more. The time period for pain relief following one or more ketamine infusions cannot be foreseen.
The Florida Spine Institute’s goal is for patients to enjoy lasting relief that can be measured in weeks or months after their last treatment. Almost all patients who experience extended pain relief will need to have occasional booster infusions or to take low-dose intranasal ketamine at home.

April 4, 2022 at 9:58 amHello, I had the privilege of bringing my mother Ms. Bernice Mouchette for treatment many years ago. We were very please with service rendered. Your add at that time said that you have a 98% success rate before surgery. Is this still the case with FSI. I’m know 67 years old and I’m having issues with my back and legs. My Xrays show that I have a curving spine as a result internal pain runs down both legs. I’ve had the problem for a while. But more recently a single vehicular accident I was involved in caused both knees to hit the dash board. I’m hoping that it didn’t cause any skeleton damage.
Can you send me any particulars as far as cost for treatment at your ficilaty, As I am a resident of the Island of Hamilton Bermuda. I do remember you guys picking my mother and I from the airport and finding accommodations.
Do you still have that same service? Please let me know.
Yours Wayne A. Mouchette
