People living with various chronic pain and mood disorders can find relief from their symptoms at MindPeace Clinics. The clinic provides ketamine infusion and intranasal services for patients that have not found recovery through traditional forms of treatment. Conditions they treat at the clinic include migraines, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic regional pain syndrome, and anxiety.
The clinic is led by Dr. Patrick Oliver, a passionate medical professional with vast experience in patient care. Dr. Oliver and the team at MindPeace Clinics aim to work collaboratively with patients’ physicians to ensure a well-rounded treatment plan. By offering ketamine therapy as part of a comprehensive recovery course, Dr. Oliver and the staff at the clinic can ensure a brighter future for many of their patients.
Before recommending ketamine treatments, an expert team member at MindPeace Clinics will assess your suitability for ketamine therapy. This initial appointment will include a thorough psychiatric or pain review and physical examination; setting up MoodMonitor; an explanation of the clinic’s process and what you can expect from ketamine infusions; a review of your urine and blood work to ensure no other causes exist for your symptoms that may be resolved by a different course of treatment; and consultations with your current Primary Care Provider and Mental Health Provider.
Infusions take place in a comfortable environment and last for about 45 minutes. Some patients report out-of-body sensations or mild hallucinations, but these side effects disappear soon after the infusion ends. Throughout the process, patients are monitored by one of the clinic’s highly-trained Registered Nurses.
Initial medical evaluations are one (1) hour. Mood disorder treatments are 90 minutes or two and a half (2.5) hours depending on the treatment. Migraine treatments are two and a half (2.5) hours. Chronic pain treatments are five (5) hours.
