MindPeace Clinics provides people suffering from various chronic pain and mood disorders relief from their symptoms using ketamine therapy. They perform ketamine infusions as well as offer Spravato, an intranasal form of the medicine, also known as a highly-respected anesthetic that’s considered by the World Health Organization to be an essential medication. Recent developments in the treatment of resistant conditions with low-dose ketamine strengthen this assessment. Conditions treated at the clinic include depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, migraines, and chronic regional pain syndrome.
MindPeace Clinics is led by Dr. Patrick Oliver. Dr. Oliver is passionate about medicine and that shows in his work with ketamine. He and the team at the clinic pride themselves on their compassionate care approach to therapy. By collaborating with patients’ physicians, Dr. Oliver can provide ketamine therapy as a complementary form of treatment in a multi-pronged approach to overall health.
Before recommending ketamine treatments, an expert team member at MindPeace Clinics will assess your suitability for ketamine therapy. This initial appointment will include a thorough psychiatric or pain review and physical examination; setting up MoodMonitor; an explanation of the clinic’s process and what you can expect from ketamine infusions; a review of your urine and blood work to ensure no other causes exist for your symptoms that may be resolved by a different course of treatment; and consultations with your current Primary Care Provider and Mental Health Provider.
Infusions take place in a comfortable environment and last for about 45 minutes. Some patients report out-of-body sensations or mild hallucinations, but these side effects disappear soon after the infusion ends. Throughout the process, patients are monitored by one of the clinic’s highly-trained Registered Nurses.
Initial Medical Evaluations are one (1) hour. Mood Disorder Treatments are 90 minutes or two and a half (2.5) hours depending on the treatment. Migraine Treatments are two and a half (2.5) hours. Chronic Pain Treatments are five (5) hours.
