The team at Restorative Infusions provides individualized therapy, understanding that each patient has unique needs. The mission is to “restore and renew the minds and bodies of those suffering,” from various chronic conditions.
The team administers ketamine therapy intravenously, which has been effective in upwards of 75 percent of patients. The ketamine clinic provides a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for those looking to take back control of their health.
– Intravenous (IV) ketamine infusion therapy
Infusions are delivered in a private room, with full heart and vital signs monitoring, and with one-to-one monitoring by Restorative Infusions’ highly qualified staff. After the clinician determines the appropriate dose of ketamine and any ancillary medications, an intravenous catheter is placed in the patient’s vein and a precise amount of medication is delivered over the prescribed time. This is usually one hour for most conditions but can be longer for some pain conditions. The vast majority of patients report that a ketamine infusion is a very peaceful, relaxing, and introspective experience.
Responses to treatment vary; patients being treated for mood disorders often need 6 infusions over 2-4 weeks as a starter. Intermittent maintenance/booster infusions are often then needed 1-3 months thereafter. Chronic pain infusions usually require 3-5 infusions within one week to start and then require intermittent boosters every 6 weeks to 3 months. Boosters vary for both types of infusions and are individualized. Continuous communication between the patient and the doctor is important and will determine how often booster infusions are needed.
Ketamine infusions function as part of a treatment plan or as an alternative to unsuccessful treatments for those whose conventional therapies or medications have had little or no effect on mental and physical health conditions. By increasing glutamate production, and by “resetting” pain signal receptors, ketamine offers hope and health to those dealing with difficult to manage problems.
