Together with their staff, the Turnipseeds aspire to provide a person-centric model of behavioral therapy that focuses on whole-body health.

Your Treatment: What to Expect

During a KAP session, your psychotherapist will provide safety and guidance, helping you remain comfortable throughout the experience. Ketamine leads to a unique softening of a person’s ego defenses. And as ketamine’s primary effects subside, you and the therapist then discuss the experience and mutually work to find solutions for the areas of focus.

Afterward, your therapist encourages you to remember the experience once the height of medication has dissipated. Decreased ego defenses result in more productive therapy, where patients can recognize how they are different, and process and analyze what they have experienced on a deeper level.

Who is this treatment for?

Ketamine infusions, administered as part of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, function as part of a treatment plan or as an alternative to unsuccessful treatments for those whose conventional therapies or medications have had little or no effect on mental and physical health conditions. By increasing glutamate production, and by “resetting” pain signal receptors, ketamine offers hope and health to those dealing with difficult to manage problems.

My life has turned around. Roots Behavioral health has been pivotal in this change. The staff is friendly and empathetic. The experience has been a reste that was much needed in tackling past trauma.

I was waiting for months to see someone, and then 48 hours prior I received a call that an in-person visit was no longer available, despite having agreed to it when the appointment was originally scheduled. When I called to speak to someone about it, I was told I was being “disrespectful” when getting frustrated.

As I explained to the supervisor I spoke with, respect is a two-way street. Calling 48 hours before my first appointment to tell me it’s no longer available is unprofessional and disrespectful, and everyone I spoke with was understanding of my frustration.

Everyone except Scarlet. She decided that she was going to gatekeep my mental health care by canceling my appointment entirely for being “disrespectful.” What a trash human being.

    Avoid this amateur-hour clownshow.
