Located in Lakewood, Colorado, Watermark Counseling is a mental health clinic that combines psychiatric medication with general therapy to help patients with a variety of issues. This includes mental health issues such as PTSD and depression, among others.
One treatment method is ketamine assisted therapy. The clinic describes it as a one- to two-hour-long inward journey that takes place with the dual support of a medical staff and a mental health therapist.
Shoshana Aal, Pys.D leads the clinic at Watermark Counseling. She has a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from The University of Denver. She also has a Graduate School of Professional Psychology and is an active member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and The Colorado Psychological Association (CPA). Additionally, Dr. Aal has over 9 years of experience providing mental health therapy across the Denver Metro area and greater Colorado. She and her staff hope to open up a new level for those seeking treatment.
