Patient Questions about Blue Sky Mental Health

This 3-question summary is matched to the protocols and conditions Blue Sky Mental Health treats. Editorial responses are HealingMaps-authored, grounded in our 2026 Ketamine Clinic Intelligence Report.

Does Blue Sky Mental Health offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP)?

Yes — Blue Sky Mental Health offers KAP, which combines ketamine dosing with structured psychotherapy during the dissociative window. KAP sessions are longer than standalone infusions and priced accordingly. A reasonable consult question: whether KAP is delivered by a single integrated provider, or by a separate therapist working with the prescribing clinician.

Is Blue Sky Mental Health suited for treatment-resistant depression?

Blue Sky Mental Health treats depression via KAP for trauma-anchored depression. Insurance coverage is rare for IV/KAP — most patients pay out of pocket. TRD is typically defined as two or more prior antidepressant trials without sufficient response — patients meeting that bar are best candidates here.

Can Blue Sky Mental Health help with anxiety disorders?

Yes — Blue Sky Mental Health treats anxiety, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder. The evidence base for ketamine in anxiety is less robust than for depression, but it can be a meaningful option for patients who haven’t responded to SSRIs or benzodiazepines. Worth asking which of their protocols they typically recommend for anxiety-primary patients.

I have been a patient of Jason Eliassant, PMHNP-BC, since July, 2024 (now November, 2024) and I am exceptionally pleased and thankful to have Blue Sky. I always have a great visit and his team, whom I adore, all have a pleasant and sincere demeanor that really puts me at ease. Eliassant and his team are exceptionally pleasant, punctual, knowledgeable, and professional, but also down to earth, non-judgemental, and care about their patient’s comfort. Most importantly, I appreciate how he really not only makes, but takes his time with his patients. He listens and validates my concerns, changes, progress; as well as educates and discusses treatment options that are actually effective. No other doctor or psychiatrist has ever suggested I have gene testing prior to prescribing medications. We were able to find what works for me after years of taking different failed medications, which is scary. Thanks to Dr. Eliassaint, I have a treatment plan that is finally working for me and without side effects. I have made tremendous progress and I was amazed at how quickly! I continue to get better and my outlook is now hopeful and optimistic. They genuinely do care at Blue Sky and I highly recommend them! 🙂
