Your Treatment: What to Expect at Boulder Ketamine
Ketamine is prescribed by the wellness center’s psychiatrist after he validates your diagnosis during an initial intake session. Next, a licensed psychotherapist with extensive ketamine experience will do a psychotherapy preparation session, and guide you through a first ketamine trial experience. After that, the therapist will guide you through six more weekly ketamine sessions. These sessions are usually in a group ceremony setting. Per Boulder Ketamine, the group sessions amplify the intensity and keep the cost down.
All in all, there will be up to eight ketamine sessions which can take three hours each. A few days after each session, there’s a short individual psychotherapy follow-up to discuss and integrate your experience. If you participate in the weekly group ceremony, then the integration session is combined with the intention setting the following week. You are not allowed to drive after the ketamine ceremony.
