Your Treatment: What to Expect
Prior to beginning treatment, patients have an initial consultation that determines the nature and severity of their condition. A treatment plan is based on this assessment. Depending on the formulation of ketamine being used, patients can expect to be at the clinic for 1.5 – 2 hours per treatment, with a course of treatments running 4 – 6 infusions over 2 weeks. The most common side effect of ketamine therapy is dissociation, and though a common effect, any patients who experience discomfort will be monitored and treated by a trained member of the staff.
