Patient Review/Testimonial: “Without mentioning any names, I’ve been to several other ketamine centers. This one by far blows the other ones out of the water. I have now had seven treatments there and I would never go any place else. Dr. Jake and Dr. Jessica truly care. They go to out of their way to make sure that you have the best experience possible. Unlike the other places I’ve been to, Dr. Jake and Dr. Jessica really do care about people and their patients. At other local clinics in San Diego I felt like a number. Here I feel like I am with family. I would never go anyplace else. Highly recommended.” — Lucy C. via Yelp

Your Treatment: What to Expect

Prospective patients undergo a 1-hour psychiatric exam before engaging in ketamine therapy. The specific dosage and types of treatment are decided upon at this exam. This provides every patient with an individualized treatment at Pacific Psych Centers. Both IV and IM treatments are administered in treatment rooms at the quiet, private clinic.

Research shows that approximately 70 percent of those treated with ketamine respond successfully, some after only a few hours.

Who is this treatment for?

The initial consultation with a psychiatrist at Pacific Psych Centers will determine if ketamine is a suitable treatment alternative.

Research into ketamine shows it to be suitable in treating resistant mental health conditions. Such conditions are ones that have not responded positively to one or more oral antidepressants and/or therapies. Ketamine treatments offer a fast-acting alternative to individuals who have had little success with mainstream medications.
