Your Treatment: What to Expect

You can expect to be at RestoratIV’s office for about 90-120 minutes if you are receiving infusions for depression or anxiety, but longer if you are receiving ketamine infusions for chronic pain conditions.

Before your infusion, a RestoratIV staff member will place an IV, apply heart rate, blood pressure, and O2 monitors. The team will monitor you for about 30 minutes following your infusion, after which you are free to leave with a friend, family member, or loved one. You may not drive immediately after your infusion, and the clinic asks that you please refrain from driving for 24-hours post-infusion.

The standard ketamine infusion protocol for depression is 4-6 infusions over the course of two weeks, though every treatment plan is individualized.

Who is ketamine treatment for?

Ketamine infusions function as part of a treatment plan or as an alternative to unsuccessful treatments for those whose conventional therapies or medications have had little or no effect on mental and physical health conditions. By increasing glutamate production, and by “resetting” pain signal receptors, ketamine offers hope and health to those dealing with difficult to manage problems.
