HealingMaps Take: Sana Healing Collective is a standout in the Chicago ketamine landscape as a non-profit organization that has been offering psychedelic integration since 2015 and ketamine therapy since 2017. Their group KAT model (up to 6 participants) creates a unique communal healing experience, and their Community Care Fund ensures accessibility for patients with financial need. All providers are graduates of the CIIS Certificate in Psychedelic Therapy and Research. They expanded into a larger space in late 2025 and currently manage a waitlist, which speaks to demand for their services.

Market Position: Sana Healing Collective treats both depression and PTSD — the two most common ketamine therapy indications, accounting for 34% of HealingMaps patient inquiries.

Patient Questions about Sana Healing Collective

This 3-question summary is matched to the protocols and conditions Sana Healing Collective treats. Editorial responses are HealingMaps-authored, grounded in our 2026 Ketamine Clinic Intelligence Report.

Does Sana Healing Collective offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP)?

Yes — Sana Healing Collective offers KAP, which combines ketamine dosing with structured psychotherapy during the dissociative window. KAP sessions are longer than standalone infusions and priced accordingly. A reasonable consult question: whether KAP is delivered by a single integrated provider, or by a separate therapist working with the prescribing clinician.

Is Sana Healing Collective suited for treatment-resistant depression?

Sana Healing Collective treats depression via KAP for trauma-anchored depression. Insurance coverage is rare for IV/KAP — most patients pay out of pocket. TRD is typically defined as two or more prior antidepressant trials without sufficient response — patients meeting that bar are best candidates here.

Can Sana Healing Collective help with anxiety disorders?

Yes — Sana Healing Collective treats anxiety, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder. The evidence base for ketamine in anxiety is less robust than for depression, but it can be a meaningful option for patients who haven’t responded to SSRIs or benzodiazepines. Worth asking which of their protocols they typically recommend for anxiety-primary patients.

I had an amazing experience in their ketamine assisted therapy group. It was a small group and the healing within community was more powerful that individual ketamine treatments that I’d done in the past. Very well organized and facilitated to promote healing.
