Your Treatment: What to Expect
Your initial visits with Dr. Goldstein will determine if ketamine treatments at Sunnyvale Psychiatry are appropriate for your condition. Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP) differs from other ketamine therapies. During KAP, the therapist remains in the room with the patient. Certain problems, concerns, or conversations are had while the patient is experiencing the ketamine state. Some patients report mild uncomfortable side effects while on ketamine, but these effect fade following treatment.
