Tri-MED in Frisco, Texas logo

Tri-Med Frisco, located in Frisco, TX, offers ketamine infusion therapy to individuals suffering from difficult to manage mental and physical health conditions. Ketamine has been a trusted emergency room anesthetic for over 50 years, but low-dose intravenous infusions have been recently shown to have significant positive effects on depression, anxiety, and chronic pain. Individuals who have tried mainstream oral medications and found little or no relief from them can find a potentially life-changing treatment in the infusions from Tri-Med Frisco. The team at Tri-Med stand ready to help sufferers regain a sense of control in their lives.

Tri-Med Frisco’s ketamine procedures are led by Oluyemi Aina MD. Dr. Aina approaches each patient’s difficulties individually, and looks to treat “the underlying condition that causes your symptoms instead of using medication to mask them.” Dr. Aina, along with the rest of the Tri-Med Frisco team, offer a safe and comfortable environment in which to experience this cutting-edge procedure. Numerous laboratory studies have shown the remarkable positive outcomes of low-dose ketamine therapy on chronic conditions. Your Treatment: What to Expect

Once ketamine has been determined to be suitable in treating your condition, Dr. Aina crafts a treatment plan based on each individual’s particular needs. A general treatment plan consists of 6 infusions over the course of two to three weeks. Infusions last for approximately 45 minutes, during which time some patients experience sensations of floating or dissociation. Although side effects wear off soon after the infusion ends, patients will require a friend or family member to drive them home.

Who is this treatment for?

Ketamine therapy at Tri-Med Frisco is recommended for those who have tried numerous oral antidepressants and coping strategies, but have found little to no relief of depressive symptoms, or have experienced significant negative side effects from mainstream medications. Although not guaranteed, ketamine shows a 75-80% effectiveness in treating difficult to manage or treatment resistant conditions.
