The Expio Center for Ketamine Therapy is the first and only medical facility in Ukraine to offer ketamine therapy. Their doors have been open since 2018. The center is a structural subdivision of the Clinic for Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics and Psycho-oncology, with innovation as its credo. For the first time in Ukraine, the center has implemented the Anticancer integrative psycho-oncological care program and the Anti-depression integrative help program for depression.

The founder and director of the Expio Center for Ketamine Therapy, Vladislav Matrenitsky, MD, Ph.D., is a psychotherapist. He is certified in both Ukraine and in Austria by the European Transpersonal Psychology Association. Dr. Matrenitsky is the author of the first psycho-oncology manual in Ukraine, “Carcinogenic Mind: The Psychosomatic Mechanisms of Cancer”.
In 2021-2022, he took an advanced course at the Polaris Insight Center, an American ketamine therapy training center. To date, Dr. Matrenitsky and his team conducted about 500 successful ketamine therapy sessions.
Angelica Bottaro is a medical writer and researcher with a rich background in psychology and journalism. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Trent University and an Advanced Diploma in Journalism from Centennial College.
