Genesys Infusion Center is led by board-certified registered nurse anesthesiologist Janet Albertson. She has over two decades of experience in anesthesiology and hopes to transfer her skills to make a difference in the lives of those with mental health issues. She works alongside Dr. Benjamin Taimoorazy, a board-certified pain management specialist. The two are proud to offer the only outpatient ketamine services in downstate Illinois.
Before recommending ketamine treatments, an expert team member at Genesys Infusion Center will assess an individual’s suitability for ketamine therapy. Infusions take place in a comfortable environment and last for about 45 minutes. Some patients report out-of-body sensations or mild hallucinations, but these side effects disappear soon after the infusion ends. Throughout the process, patients are monitored by one of the clinic’s highly-trained staff.
Those who have not been helped by conventional treatment strategies have another option with ketamine treatments at Genesys Infusion Center. Research in the last 7-10 years has shown that ketamine infusions are effective for those suffering from treatment-resistant mental health conditions and chronic pain conditions. Either as an alternative to or a supplement to mainstream treatments, ketamine infusions offer an alternative path to healing for those who have lost hope.

May 26, 2023 at 11:19 pmHello, I live in Bloomington and I’m interested in Ketamine for chronic pain. I’m diagnosed with fibromyalgia but have a positive gene for Ankylosing Spondylitis. I also show an increasing ANA but nothing definitive. Could you please let me know the cost and protocol for chronic pain, as well as outcome results in pain and mobility scores. Thank you, Kevin Crutcher. I can also be reached at 309-532-2014.
