The founder of Ellenburg Center Dr. Michael Ellenburg, earned his BA in biology in 1994. He also gained an MPH in 1997 from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. He later enrolled in Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington, earning his Naturopathic Medical Doctorate in 2001 and his Masters in Acupuncture in 2004. Dr. Ellenburg has been treating Alaskan’s with naturopathic medicine since 2004.
The Ellenburg Center’s naturopathic doctors have been trained in the art and science of natural health care at reputable medical schools. These programs include the standard medical education, but they also teach about botanical medicine, nutrition, psychology, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and physical medicine.
