This 4-question summary is matched to the protocols and conditions South Coast TMS and Ketamine treats. Editorial responses are HealingMaps-authored, grounded in our 2026 Ketamine Clinic Intelligence Report.
South Coast TMS and Ketamine treats depression via IV ketamine (off-label, evidence-based). Insurance coverage is rare for IV/KAP — most patients pay out of pocket. TRD is typically defined as two or more prior antidepressant trials without sufficient response — patients meeting that bar are best candidates here.
Yes — South Coast TMS and Ketamine treats chronic pain. They use IV ketamine for pain, which typically means longer infusion times and higher cumulative doses than mental-health protocols. Common indications include complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), fibromyalgia, and certain neuropathic pain syndromes. Pain pricing varies significantly by structure: per-infusion vs. multi-day inpatient packages — verify how this clinic structures their billing.
Yes — South Coast TMS and Ketamine treats PTSD. Ketamine for trauma differs from depression treatment: dosing is often lower per session, and pairing the protocol with trauma-focused therapy between sessions is common. A reasonable consult question: whether PTSD patients here typically use ketamine alone or alongside an outside therapist.
Yes — South Coast TMS and Ketamine treats anxiety, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder. The evidence base for ketamine in anxiety is less robust than for depression, but it can be a meaningful option for patients who haven’t responded to SSRIs or benzodiazepines. Worth asking which of their protocols they typically recommend for anxiety-primary patients.
Beyond ketamine, this clinic offers TMS therapy — an FDA-cleared option that requires no IV access, no sedation, and no recovery time. A standard course runs 36 sessions over 6 to 9 weeks, with most major commercial plans, Medicare Part B, and Tricare covering treatment after prior authorization. This clinic uses BrainsWay Deep TMS, the only TMS device with standalone FDA clearance for OCD via the H7 coil. January 15, 2024 at 9:09 pmMy experience with South Coast TMS and ketamine has left me completely dissatisfied and depressed, despite my high hopes. In my opinion, the treatment offered no benefit. When I expressed my concerns to Dr. Belnap, he got defensive, blamed it on me, and then started making completely unreasonable and negative accusations towards me. This made him seem even more fraudulent. He was completely fine with taking my money and having me walk away feeling worse than when I came in. It seems very evident to my family and me that this organization prioritizes profits over genuine care, taking advantage of vulnerable individuals desperate for help. In the end, I feel over $10,000 has been stolen from me, and I received nothing in return. Now I am unable to afford any authentic care.
