Your Treatment: What to expect

Before the use of any Ketamine treatment at the Weston Ketamine Health Center, clients undergo an extensive mental and physical health screening. Subsequently, ketamine is administered intravenously over the course of 45 minutes. Feelings of lightness and slight dissociation are common as the medicine begins to take effect. A trained expert in ketamine delivery monitors the patient. This expert is also well-versed in mitigating any negative side-effects the client experiences. Once the infusion is complete, clients should start to regain some normality after about 15 minutes.

Who is this treatment for?

KAP helps those suffering from mood conditions or chronic pain that has been resistant to traditional mainstream therapies. Further, KAP should be undertaken in concert with mainstream psychiatric consultations. However, if a client has no regular therapist, the Weston Ketamine Health clinic can offer referrals.
